About Bradford, West Yorkshire

Bradford is an industrial city in West Yorkshire, and within it are some of the most deprived inner city areas in the country. The city has a vibrant mix of western and eastern culture with one of the largest Asian communities in England.

Bradford has not always been known for the right reasons because it is a city that faces many challenges including race riots in 2001. It has a high unemployment rate, and areas of great poverty and need.

But we see that God has planted his church here to help turn that around and that as God blesses his people, our city will also prosper. Our heart is to reach out to those in our wider community bringing them practical help, support, and the unconditional love of God. We know that one of the keys to changing a city is by changing the people in it, bringing them hope, encouraging them to believe in themselves and showing them a different way to live.

We love our city, it is a place with incredible potential and we believe that God has an awesome plan for the lives of the people here. We are committed to reaching them by building an awesome 21st century church and living our lives as a relevant expression of who God is in our local communities.
